After three draws, Inter return to success in the away match in Udine. The Nerazzurri pass 2-0 and inflict the first home defeat to the Friulians in the Gotti management. The result returns the 2nd place in the standings to 3 points from Juventus and 2 ahead of Lazio (who recovers the match against Verona on Wednesday). Udinese stops at 24 points, however +8 on the 'red zone'.

Gotti lined up Lasagna and Okaka with 3-5-2 points, Mandragora pivot in the midfield, Larsen and Sema on the wings. Problems for Conte who loses Handanovic (hand injury) as well as Sensi and has Lautaro suspended. In Porta Padelli, the flagship are Esposito (preferred to Sanchez) and Lukaku, Eriksen in the line of the five midfielders (but the Dane will often move to be a midfielder) with Moses and Young as exteriors. Compassionate pace with many measurement errors on both fronts. Eriksen warms Musso's hands. Fofana (conclusion on the side) and De Paul (from distance) create some headaches in Padelli. Esposito does not find the door on Young's suggestion, in the final Sema closes both us Eriksen and Esposito.

The recovery opens with an important chance for the Nerazzurri: Young's cross-shot, Musso is uncertain and rejects short, Sema slips and hands the ball to Esposito who 'slippers' in the goalkeeper's arms. Once the danger is over, Udinese takes command of the operations and Inter struggles to get out. So much so that before the quarter of an hour Conte decides to shuffle the cards: inside Brozovic (back from an ankle problem) and Sanchez (who made his debut in European football in Udinese), outside Eriksen and Esposito. Right move. A combination soon arrives between Lukaku and the Chilean who is muffled in the conclusion. It is the prelude to the goal that reaches the 64th minute. Barella throws to the area where Lukaku is punctual, the defense is static and the Belgian can adjust right and hit left. Shortly thereafter, triple chance for Sanchez, Lukaku (who throws Musso at three meters) and Vecino. But Udinese is in serious difficulty and can be seen in the 71st minute, when Sanchez wins a rebound and shows up in front of Musso who puts him down. Lukaku scored twice on the spot. Inter want to lead the game in the 90th minute without hesitation, Skriniar almost ruins the plans when he gets the ball torn from Lasagna who runs towards Padelli but widens the conclusion. Lasagna also tries on the fly on a rebound in the area, also in this case aims wide.
