The Saudi Ministry of Health announced that it would receive ten Saudi students after they were evacuated from the Wuhan region of China, by means of a private plane that the Kingdom’s government would implement in order to implement the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his crown prince.

The plane landed today, Sunday, in the city of Riyadh, after full coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in China, which completed all necessary procedures and arrangements with the competent authorities there, and provided the necessary facilities to transport them and secure their safety.

The Ministry indicated that the students were transferred, accompanied by specialized medical teams, to a suitable accommodation that was fully equipped for them, with full medical care, as they would be isolated for two weeks until their safety was confirmed and all laboratory tests were taken to check on them to ensure that it did not transfer to other people.

This measure is part of the work of the epidemiological investigation and ongoing follow-up by the health of the new Corona virus.

The ministry indicated that it continues to implement many precautionary measures to prevent and benefit from the virus to the Kingdom, by examining all arrivals from China through direct or indirect trips, noting that the total number of samples that were examined in the Kingdom since January 20 to February 2 reached 62 A sample, all of which are negative, as 3152 passengers were examined through direct flights from China, and 868 passengers were traveled through indirect flights during the same period.
