Five races, five wins! Perrine Laffont has no more competition on the moguls, unlike Bastien Midol in skicross, who however won a beautiful second place in Megève.

For his fifth success of the season, Laffont was scared. Destabilized by the wind in the small final (at 16), she took only fourth place, and it took a high class run to come back in the lead during the super final.

"In final 1, I put a very small D-Spin, with the feet apart and I lose points. I doubted…", she said, quoted by the Dauphiné Libéré, "and then, it s 'is downpour (...) I was afraid that they would cancel and that they would only keep my fourth place in the final 1. It made me increase the stress. "

The suspense did not last long, and the champion of the big crystal globe now seems to be spinning straight towards a new coronation.

In skicross, Bastien Midol won second place in the Megève World Cup race on Saturday. Disappointing in recent weeks, the champion of the specialty has caught up with his audience, but could not overcome the final of Canadian Kevin Drury.

With four podiums in five events this season, including two victories, Drury flew over the globe with 688 points, against 454 at Swiss Ryan Regez and 393 at Midol.

Two other Frenchmen had reached the semi-finals: Tom Bonnefond and Terence Tchiknavorian, who placed 7th and 8th respectively.

Among the girls, Marielle Berger-Sabbatel disputed the final, of which she took only the fourth and last place.

The cross-country skiers were at rest this weekend, before ending up next week in Falun, Sweden.

Among other notable results, Antoine Adeline finished 6th in the slopestyle ski competition in Mammoth, California on Friday evening.

The French Nordic combined team continues its learning: on the three individual events of the weekend, gundersen with respectively 5 km, 10 km and 15 km of cross-country skiing, Laurent Muhlethaler was each time better French, by ranking 24th, 23rd and 19th, far from the Norwegian Jarl Magnus Riiber, winner of the three events and now very solid leader of the World Cup.
