The criminal court in Dubai started the trial of a Gulf employee accused of blackmailing his former fiancée, and threatening to expose her with their pictures together if she did not leave her new fiancé, and forcing her to pay 20,000 dirhams in order not to publish her photos.

The victim said in the Public Prosecution investigations that she was engaged to the accused about four years ago, then separated from him after a while, and she was engaged to another person, so he asked her to annul her last engagement and return to him, but she refused, and then received threatening letters on her phone from numbers registered outside the state She resorted to the accused himself, because he had knowledge of technical and technical aspects, until she knew that he was the one who threatened her and insulted her in obscene expressions of modesty, and forced her to pay an amount of 20 thousand dirhams in exchange for not publishing her photos.

The Public Prosecution directed the accused to commit a felony with the threat accompanied by an application, blackmailing a person, and making him deliver money, and a misdemeanor.
