The Sharjah Criminal Court has examined a case in which two Asian people are accused of attempted theft, as they stole gold jewelery from within the place where they work, to be discovered before they leave it.

The details of the incident are due to the fact that a security guard in a commercial center was able to seize an employee working in a store that sells gold, and by searching him he found some gold pieces and artifacts that he had hidden among his clothes, so he kept it, and informed the security authorities, to confirm later that he agreed with another employee to sell the gold And dispose of it. The court confronted the defendants with the charges against them, so they admitted them, and the first said that he took advantage of the end of the working time, and concealed golden artifacts he did not know the financial value of his clothes, indicating that during his exit from the store, the security guard, who was present at the door, was suspected of searching the loot in His possession, noting that the agreement was with the second accused of handing over the stolen goods, and giving him an opportunity to dispose of them later. Facing the second defendant, he confessed to agreeing with the first to sell the loot, and said that he agreed with the first defendant, but the plan did not succeed due to his arrest, noting that he was arrested later, after the first confessed to him.

The defendants asked for clemency and mercy from the judiciary, noting that they had been imprisoned for about two months.

In turn, the Public Prosecution requested the conviction of the accused, while the court decided to reserve the case for the ruling on the ninth of next March.
