The Criminal Court in Dubai ruled six months in prison and deportation of an (Asian) employee, who stole 19,000 dirhams of donations, collected for the benefit of a security guard, to pay the price of the birth in a hospital, after she was unable to bear the expenses of the operation, and she was unable to remove her infant from the hospital, Or complete the necessary medical care for him, due to the theft of the donation
The victim - who is the brother of the woman's husband - said that he was at the head of his work as a security guard in a private hospital, and put a bag containing 19 thousand dirhams and 200 dollars on the reception table, waiting for delivery to his brother's wife, and after about an hour, he was surprised by the disappearance of the bag, and reviewed Camera officials, found out that an (Asian) employee stole the bag, went straight to the bathroom, took the full amount, then threw the bag in the trash and left the hospital.
The woman, whose donation money was stolen, said that she needed an amount of 17,271 dirhams for the value of the birth process she performed in a hospital, and asked for help from her relatives and acquaintances, who did not skimp on her, and her husband's brother sought to collect the money, then he told her that he was able to provide the amount Without telling her its size.
On the day specified for receiving the money, the accused stole the bag, indicating that she was unable to take out her infant, as she could not pay the required amount, as well as her inability to provide aftercare for him, which requires the infant to remain in the intensive care unit for premature babies.
The accused was arrested, confessed to his crime, and he returned 2000 dirhams of stolen goods, claiming that it was all the money he had stolen from the victim’s bag.
