New dismissal rules come into force in Russia from February 1

According to the newspaper Izvestia, the STD-R form is an analogue of the extract from the work book.

It contains data on the duration of the employee for a particular employer.

The publication notes that the new rules of dismissal are associated with the transition to electronic work books.

Earlier it was reported that from July 1, Russia entered into law on the introduction of electronic work books.

The document obliges all employers to inform employees in writing about the opportunity to choose between a work book in paper or electronic form by July 1, 2020.

Data on the employment of those who first get a job in 2021 will only be kept in electronic form.
