February 1, 2020 10:02 AM Apple has announced the closure of all its stores in China "due to recent public health problems and prevention." This is what can be read on the company's Chinese website. It will remain in operation in Apple's online store in China, the note states. Affirming that the company will continue to monitor the situation, the statement said it intended to reopen the stores "as soon as possible". The announcement comes after Toyota, Ikea and Starbuscks have closed in China.
