The ministry recently announced details of technologies and programs that will be implemented in coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure the implementation of the policy of protecting people of determination from abuse, confirming that it has based the policy development on the experiences of three international countries including the United States, Australia and Ireland.

The Ministry indicated that one of the most important examples of protection against abuse for people of determination in the United States is under the Disabled Persons Act, which includes legislative measures preventing all forms of discrimination on the basis of disability, as well as the National Center for Criminal Justice and Disability issuing a call to work to achieve justice for persons with disabilities in Society and protect them from abuse and violence.

She also drew attention to the Australian government's work in developing child protection systems in general, and persons with disabilities of all ages, including the development and implementation of the National Strategic Plan for Persons with Disabilities, the Child Protection Act, and the National Hotline to Protect Persons with Disabilities from Abuse and Neglect.

The policy of protecting people of determination from abuse touched on four types of abuse that included physical, sexual, emotional, material or financial abuse.
