“In connection with the death of a worker ... the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the leadership of the Main Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia in St. Petersburg to immediately institute criminal proceedings,” her words are quoted on the agency’s website.

It is noted that the materials at the direction of Bastrykin will be transferred to investigators of the central office.

Earlier, Bastrykin took control of the progress of the CCM roof collapse inspection during dismantling.
