Before the police patrol arrived, a man came to the car and drove from there. He was driving towards one-way and was forced to stop when he met a police car on the narrow road.

- We checked the driver, a man in his 70s. A suspicious firearm was then visible in the car and then a house search was done in the car. A total of two suspected weapons were found that were seized, says police spokesman Åsa Willsund.

The weapons should be analyzed

What kind of weapons they are and if they are real, Åsa Willsund cannot say at present. The weapons will be analyzed at NFC, the national forensic center in Linköping.

The man will be questioned and a prosecutor will then decide whether to be arrested or released. A notification of a violation of the Arms Act has been prepared.
