“I need to clarify this, I'm not ready to answer this question yet,” Peskov said in response to a question whether the Russian side would invite Zelensky to the parade on May 9 after his statements about the outbreak of World War II or whether Moscow’s position would be adjusted.

Peskov noted that Zelensky’s statements about the guilt of the USSR at the beginning of the Second World War “cause nothing but regret and misunderstanding.”

“Everything else needs to be clarified,” the Kremlin spokesman added.

Earlier, during the visit to Poland, the Ukrainian leader blamed the Soviet Union for the unleashing of the Second World War.
