In the letter, the experts noted that, according to the plans prescribed in the national project “Digital Economy”, by 2024, Russian government agencies should use 90% of domestic software in their work, and 70% of state-owned companies.

In Russia, there is already a single register of domestic software, but its resources are not yet enough to achieve its goals, experts are sure.

“Despite the presence in Russia of 70 thousand technological products in Rospatent and 10 thousand companies ... in the register of domestic software there are only 6 thousand items from 2 thousand companies ... In turn, the developers themselves do not have sufficient resources and skills to popularize their products, ”the appeal says.

In order to more efficiently develop the industry and fulfill the national project targets, the organization proposes to upgrade the existing registry to an electronic store, where representatives of government agencies and state-owned companies will be able, in particular, to get complete information about existing software, find out about its cost, and also get acquainted with all available digital solutions that are necessary for their work.

The authors of the initiative also propose creating a marketplace as part of a public-private partnership, which, in their opinion, will help reduce government spending and increase the investment attractiveness of the Russian IT industry.

Earlier in Russia, it was proposed to introduce a “digital fingerprint” system in Russia to combat spam and telephone scammers.
