The updated travel warnings schedule, in addition to China, includes Lebanon, due to political reasons, Madagascar due to the plague epidemic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo due to the situation and the Ebola epidemic, and Yemen, South Sudan, Afghanistan, Somalia, Syria, Iraq and Libya due to security conditions, in addition to the Nigerian Republic in northern Nigeria Because of the troubled security situation in northern Nigeria.
Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the citizens of the country to postpone travel to the People's Republic of China except in cases of extreme necessity, in light of the many countries witnessing the spread of the new pneumonia virus "Corona", and in the concern of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the safety of citizens.
The Ministry affirmed that the citizens located abroad have the importance of following the safety and medical protection instructions in order to preserve their safety, and in emergency cases and to communicate with the nearest state mission abroad or with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation contact center on the number 0097180044444, calling on citizens to register for my presence through its website.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has warned citizens traveling to China and other countries not to take preventive health precautions due to the spread of the "Corona" virus, the most important of which is avoiding animals and their products, mixing with patients, and not traveling while having symptoms.
She called on citizens traveling abroad to review the schedule of travel warnings updated periodically on its website, before planning travel, to ensure the selection of the safe country, stressing the importance of registering in the "my presence" service, in order to be able to communicate with citizens in emergency situations, and provide them with assistance.
