Macabre discovery. The lifeless body of a woman and traces of blood were found in a building in the Roseraie district of Douai, in the North. The alert had been given around 7 p.m., according to La Voix du Nord .
Unknown circumstances of death
The victim, aged 60, suffered from serious health problems. A man was in the apartment when the police intervened, but he was unable to speak clearly. Aged 70, the latter was arrested and placed in police custody. His state of health nevertheless required hospitalization.
For the moment, the circumstances of the death remain unknown. An autopsy is scheduled this Wednesday afternoon to determine the causes of death. There is currently nothing to link the septuagenarian to death. The investigation was entrusted to the criminal brigade of urban security of Douai.
