The Yemeni army forces backed by the Arab alliance managed yesterday to liberate four strategic tabs in the fog front, west of Taiz Governorate.

A field source told «Emirates Today» that the army forces were able to carry out a surprise attack on Tuesday on the positions of the Houthi coup militia in the Fog Front and were able to liberate the Tabab al-Thiab, Mudayd, al-Rai, al-Zruh and al-Zahir, located in Wadi al-Haramiyya in Fog.

The source pointed out that the liberation of those sites opens the way for the army to impose fiery control over the Tibetan Black and Khalwa on the same front, pointing out that the recent confrontations left a number of dead and wounded in the militia ranks and destroyed military and other spoils.

The leadership of the third military zone in Marib, north of Yemen, also announced that its forces had regained full control of the Al-Jawf junction areas, the Baraqish archaeological area, the Al-Safra area, and the Majzar district in the fronts around the capital, Sanaa.

The commander of the third military region, Major General Rukn Muhammad Al-Hubaishi, affirmed that the Yemeni army forces, backed by the Arab Alliance to Support Legitimacy, carried out a lightning military operation at dawn on Tuesday, during which they were able to regain all the areas they had controlled in Al-Jawf Governorate.

He pointed out that the operation resulted in the death and injury of dozens of coup militia members and the families of others.

On the Nahham fronts, to the northeast of the capital, Sana'a, the Yemeni army forces were able to carry out a tight ambush of large groups of militia in the Fadi Nahham heights, west of Al-Jawf junction, as they attempted to infiltrate the al-Jadaan area below al-Farda, circumvent them and incurred great losses.

In the city of Hodeidah, the Houthi militia continued its violations by bombing residential neighborhoods on Khamseen Street with mortar shells, targeting artillery shells in the July 7 region, and the al-Jah al-Ala district in the Beit al-Faqih district with a number of artillery shells.

On the other hand, a press release issued by the World Food Program in Yemen stated that armed men from the Houthi coup militia stormed a warehouse belonging to the program in Hajjah Governorate, and looted food aid.

In al-Dhalea, the Houthi coup militia executed a tribal leader in the province, after he was kidnapped from his home.

Local sources said that the militias executed the tribal leader Abdo Musaad Al-Shemali after he was kidnapped days before his house in the village of Al-Qarn, located between the Hajar and Shaleel areas, north of Al-Dhali, due to special problems between him and Houthi elements from the area's residents.
