The applause was many and long when US President Donald Trump presented the peace plan he negotiated with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington.
"Today, Israel is taking a big step toward peace," said Donald Trump, about the peace plan he described as a "win-win" for both Israelis and Palestinians.
That the Palestinians were not present at the negotiating table was not mentioned, however, Trump announced that he has sent a letter with the draft peace plan to Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas.
