Jared Kushner, Senior Adviser to the President of the United States, said that the establishment of two Israeli and Palestinian states according to the American peace plan will be based on the basis of the map revealed by US President Donald Trump today at a press conference in the White House.

Kushner described the plan - which Trump disclosed in the presence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - as wonderful, because it allows Israel to live in safety in its surroundings, and gives the Palestinians an offer that will not be repeated again, which is to obtain a state, and to lead a decent life in it, where they will receive fifty billion dollars. To build their prospective state, stressing that the plan came based on the basis of international decisions.

He added - in an interview with Al Jazeera - that Israel made a major concession under the American plan, as it agreed, for the first time, to freeze settlement for a period of four years, and "something that has not happened before."

He said that the map took into consideration the reality of the new Israeli lands after the settlement expansion, and that it will work to stop this growth, as well as the security reality when drawing the borders of the Israeli and Palestinian states, in a way that guarantees the security of Israel.

Regarding the Al-Aqsa Mosque, he stressed that he will remain in his current state, as Jordan continues to supervise it, allowing all Muslims in the world to visit and pray in it, "and it will also be available to all Jews and Christians in the world to visit their holy places in Jerusalem."

He said that Jerusalem will be a unified capital for Israel, explaining that the borders of Jerusalem have changed over the past years. Its borders in 1967 are not the same as they were in 2000, then in 2010, and he said that the demarcation of municipal borders will be negotiated to enable the Palestinians to establish their capital on Land in Jerusalem, while stressing that current East and West Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, which explains Trump's promise today to the Palestinians to establish a capital for them in East Jerusalem.

Kouchner praised what he called the concessions made by Israel and its acceptance of the American plan, throwing the ball into the Palestinian leadership's goal, which he said should not waste the historic opportunity presented to him, and said that the late Palestinian President Yasser Arafat was afraid to reach an agreement with Israel, so that he would not be accused by The Arabs said that he was a traitor, and he said that the situation has changed, as the Arabs are now hoping the Palestinian leadership to accept the deal and reach peace with Israel.

Kouchner accused Palestinian leaders over the past years of wasting all chances of peace, causing suffering to their people, and then holding Israel responsible for the suffering of the Palestinian people, "although Israel has always been offering them compromises, because it wants to live in peace", stressing that Iran is the one who opposes the plan Because it uses the Palestinian cause to achieve its own interests.
