On January 28, two people were hospitalized in Voronezh who recently returned from the PRC - a 55-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man.

According to the regional government, during hospitalization, special anti-epidemic protection was used - special ambulance transport, an insulating module, and appropriate medical equipment.

“The condition is closer to a satisfactory patient born in 1985, and of moderate severity in a woman born in 1965,” RIA Novosti quotes Schukin.

He said that four tests were taken from patients, including “to rule out coronavirus,” sending them also to Moscow and Novosibirsk.

He added that patients are placed in the boxes of the infectious diseases department of the Voronezh Regional Children's Clinical Hospital No. 2, because there are special boxes that “completely prevent the spread of infection.”

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that an operational headquarters had been set up in Moscow to monitor the situation with coronavirus and prevent its spread. Hotels and places of mass stay of tourists are taken under special control.

The head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, in an interview with the website “Arguments and Facts”, commented on the regime for controlling the spread of coronavirus introduced in Russia.
