The Social Services Department in Sharjah confirmed that it provided a 24-hour hotline service to receive calls and requests for the elderly and people of determination in the emirate, in order to provide 6 different services to them with the highest standards and specifications followed.
She showed, during her publishing of services on various different means on social media and its digital and media platforms, that the number 8007080 receives calls from the public and stakeholders to provide the necessary care for the elderly and people of determination at any time.
She pointed out that the 6 services it provides to the elderly and people of determination via the hotline are:
1. Register with home care services to provide them with care in their homes through a specialized medical team.
2. Report violence and abuse if they are exposed to it by any party.
3. Register with the physiotherapy center that provides full medical care to them.
4. Register with the nursing home service for bed-ridden patients to ensure regular visits to their treatment and provide medical services that are appropriate to their health status.
5. Requesting the transfer of the bedridden to appoint medical appointments in hospitals and other health centers.
6. Requesting the rehabilitation of the sitting, through which sessions are given to bed-ridden sitting and sick patients at home to provide health care to them appropriately without errors.
