The Ministry of Health and Community Protection unveiled new projects and initiatives that enhance the use of artificial intelligence in its health services, including launching the Preventive Health Platform “Anayati”, a device to monitor the heartbeat with artificial intelligence, and an intelligent link between the national ambulance services and hospitals.

In detail, the Ministry announced the first project nationwide to smartly link the national ambulance services and hospitals, during its participation in the Arab Health 2020 exhibition and conference, which will be hosted by the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center from 27 to 30 January.

The assistant undersecretary for the hospital sector, Dr. Youssef Mohamed Al-Sarkal, said that the project would accelerate access to the situation in a record time by employing the Internet of Things, as well as fully preparing for the emergency room in line with the situation that is being assisted, by linking the smart ambulance to an accurate database It will be provided in cooperation with the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, outlining the health history of patients, with the aim of promptly accessing data and information efficiently and effectively, to meet the needs of patients, and in line with the Ministry's strategy to provide health care and build quality and safety systems Ajah according to international standards.

The Ministry also launched the protective health platform "Enayati", which is supported by artificial intelligence technology, and includes a set of smart systems and applications that are linked through a sensor in the body of heart patients or those who suffer from health symptoms or genetic diseases, clarifies the body's health indicators and sends alerts when the danger occurs to enhance health care services.

The assistant undersecretary for the support services sector in the ministry, Awad Sagheer Al-Ketbi, stressed that the platform comes in line with the goals of the national agenda 2021 to upgrade the health care system in the country and focus on the preventive side by avoiding health accidents before they occur, pointing out that the platform benefits from the widest segments of society, especially those who suffer Chronic diseases, or diseases that carry high risk factors for their lives. The director of health information systems at the ministry, Ali Al-Ajmi, said that the platform "Enayati" works using artificial intelligence technology and converts the reaction to monitoring through obtaining notifications about private health indicators, by using possible input and output orders, using wearable devices that respond For abnormal health rates, indicating that the patient can log in to the program on a daily basis and monitor his health indicators, to be included in the database of the ministry that helps in formulating health initiatives and strategies, and support decision-makers to draw future health policies according to Statistical data.

The ministry also presented during the exhibition a device that monitors arrhythmias using "artificial intelligence" techniques, in cooperation with the company "Pure Health", to help reduce heart-related health disorders before they occur.
