There are currently around 40 trained patrol leaders within Missing People in Värmland. But more is needed because participation in the search is voluntary on time and there are enough available.

"It is a security both for our applicants and for relatives and for the police," says Susanna Thörnquist, who is a member of the skills assurance group and is the operational manager of Missing People in Värmland.

Two-day training

Now a two-day training is being conducted by people who want to become a patrol leader and can lead volunteers in new search efforts.

- It will be a quality assurance for us and also for those who are involved, that you know that what you are doing is right and that we work according to the guidelines we have, explains Susanna Thörnquist.
