John Bolton shares in an unpublished book information on Trump's actions in Ukraine, The New York Times reports. The US president should have pushed Ukraine to launch a corruption investigation against rival Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. The former security adviser claims that Trump withheld $ 3.7 billion in military aid to force a review of Biden's business.

Trump denies

The president rejects the information that could be of significance to the congressional judicial process against Trump. Possible extortion against Ukraine is the central issue in the Democrats' attempt to topple the president.

Bolton wants to testify

John Bolton, who was appointed as security advisor in September 2019, has said he is willing to testify in the process. But Republican members so far do not want to allow witnesses to appear in the Senate, where they have a majority. Democrats are now demanding that Bolton be allowed to testify and present his information.
