A metro to return to the famous student evenings on Thursday. This is the proposal launched on Monday by Jean-Luc Moudenc (Les Républicains, supported by LREM), the mayor of Toulouse, as part of his municipal campaign.

If he is re-elected, he wishes to extend the passage of the trains until 3 am (instead of 1 hour) on Thursday "from the next academic year". In 2014, Jean-Luc Moudenc had already launched the idea, which has proved popular, to play extensions at the metro on Fridays and Saturdays.

Watch out for nocturnal nuisances

According to Tisséo, which only has figures for the end of 2018 at the moment, the weekend device attracted more than 7 million night owl passengers in the 1h / 3h slot during the first four years of its operation.

"We will be attentive and vigilant so that the residents, around the stations, do not suffer from night nuisances", specifies the candidate, who does not want to offend anyone with this metro by night during the week.
