Chinese Minister of the National Health Committee Ma Xiaoyi revealed Sunday that the new Corona virus - which has killed 56 people - is able to transmit stronger, that the number of infected people may rise, and that the authorities' knowledge of it and the risks of its mutations are unknown to them.

An official with the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention said the center had started developing anti-virus vaccines, which was a crucial step in the development of a vaccine.

Xu Wenbo, president of the National Institute of Virological Disease Control and Prevention, was quoted by the official Xinhua news agency as saying that the center has been able to isolate the virus and is now identifying its strain.

He added that they are also examining drugs aimed at pneumonia caused by a virus, without specifying a date for giving it to those infected or suspected of having the virus.

On the other hand, a health care organization in the United States of America announced - in a statement via Twitter - that it had found a new case of coronavirus in California (western United States).

The Health Authority said it had received confirmation from a center for epidemiology and prevention, Saturday evening, that there was a new case of the virus, and was transferred to a hospital, after it recorded an infection in Washington, DC, last Thursday and another in Boston.

The official Chinese media announced today, Sunday, that the number of deaths due to the Corona virus in the country rose to 56, recorded 1975 infections, and spread in other regions besides the Hubei province in central China, which appeared.

The Shanghai regional government revealed the first death in the Chinese city as a result of the virus, and Hong Kong declared an emergency because of corona, canceled the celebrations, and limited the means of communication between them and the rest of China.

Chinese President Xi Jinping admitted that his country was facing a serious challenge due to the rapid spread of the new virus, saying that "life is of the utmost importance, and when the disease spreads, it is our responsibility to prevent and control it."

Xi Jin noted that the ruling Communist Party is taking the virus very seriously and is coordinating efforts from within its political bureau, which met on Saturday.
