Followed for several years, he is particularly known for his relations with the Islamist group Forsane Alizza, dissolved in 2012 by the Ministry of the Interior. He boasted in December of knowing how to handle explosives, which alerted the authorities, the source added. A "home visit" (an administrative search) took place Thursday, during which black powder, electrical equipment, bolts and a pressure cooker were discovered in a cellar, said another source familiar with the matter. .

The companion of this man and a relative, with whom he was at the time of his arrest, are the other two people in police custody. These can last up to 96 hours.
