The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has warned citizens traveling to China and other countries against neglecting preventive health precautions due to the spread of the Corona virus, the most important of which is avoiding animals and their products, and not mixing with patients or traveling during symptoms.

The ministry stated on its account via the website “Twitter”, “In light of the many outbreaks of the new pneumonia virus in Corona, and in the interest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the safety of citizens, the ministry advises the citizens of the country to follow the virus prevention instructions issued by the competent health authorities in UAE".

The ministry has published a set of advice on coronavirus circulating in China and several countries around the world, namely avoiding animals (live or dead) and animal markets, products that come from animals (such as uncooked meat), avoiding mixing with patients with respiratory symptoms, washing hands frequently with water Soap for at least 20 seconds, use hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available, cover the mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing, not traveling while having symptoms.

The embassy of the state in China, through its account on Twitter, stated that the new corona virus appeared in Wuhan last December and spread to other provinces, which is a mysterious virus that belongs to the B group. This virus is transmitted through living organisms through coughing and sneezing.

She pointed to the strict measures taken to contain the spread of the virus, as Chinese media reports said that the Chinese health authorities have adopted strict measures to prevent and control the new strain of the virus, which caused the spread of pneumonia in Wuhan, Hubei Province.
