25 January 202017.28 Alan Kurdi of the German NGO Sea Eye has rescued 62 people off Libya. The migrants were on board an inflatable boat that was embarking water. This was communicated by the same NGO on Twitter. On board there would also be 8 women and 7 children, the youngest of six months. Alan Kurdi then reached a second boat in difficulty in the Mediterranean waters, saving 16 people. Three of them are "severely dehydrated and were immediately taken to the on-board hospital for treatment". There are now 78 migrants on board.
