The three suspected perpetrators must have threatened the victim with a knife and gun-like object and demanded to get the man's cellphone.
The man, who is 25 years of age, is being cared for in a hospital. The injury situation is currently unclear.
No person has been arrested and the suspected perpetrators, who are described as young, are now being sought with, among other things, a dog patrol.
