Halfway into the slow TV project The big moose walk, until Thursday there had been no rush of swimming moose. Birdwatchers and a curious reindeer were among the highlights until early Friday morning, when viewers could see a flock of twelve moose wading over a small stream in the Ångerman River.

The project is staffed by five people who live on the site and share the tasks. On the beachfront in Kullberg, where they live, it was anything but quiet on Thursday. The ice release created concern when an ice floe large as a football pitch was torn away, says Johan Erhag, project manager.

The TV team also has equipment that does not belong to the usual, a radio controlled boat for example.

- The idea is that we should be able to approach the moose and slide forward a little slowly, not too close then, when they start swimming, says Johan Erhag.
