According to police, the man is now suspected of drunk driving, unlawful driving and carelessness in traffic.
"He was on his feet when the rescue service came to the scene and has been taken in for sampling," says Katarina Skagerlind at the Stockholm Police Command Center.
Even earlier on Friday night, a traffic accident occurred at E20 in Södertälje. At 22.40, a passenger car, for unknown reasons, drove into the center. The two people traveling in the car did not have to go to an ambulance to hospital. A lane was temporarily shut off, but traffic could quickly return to normal.
