Vera Kriegel Grossman was six years old when the Nazi Auschwitz camp was liberated. The little girl was one of Dr. Josef Mengele's guinea pigs. The war criminal was carrying out medical experiments on the Jews, in particular twins and twins, detained in the extermination camp near Krakow, Poland.
The 81-year-old woman, who now lives in the West Bank, is one of the few guinea pigs to have survived. Six million Jews were killed during the Holocaust.
