A group of thieves assaulted a betting house on Bravo Murillo Street on Thursday morning, but lost the spoils of the robbery after hitting the car in which they fled to a National Police patrol.
The assault took place at 5:40 a.m. on Thursday at number 228 of Bravo Murillo street in the Tetouan district, La Razón reports this Friday and police sources have confirmed Efe.
A patrol of the National Police came to the place when the local alarms went off.
Upon arrival they found a vehicle that was speeding out of the place and in their flight they rammed the police car in the front.
As a result of the shock, one of the agents suffered a slight knee injury.
The thieves' car was damaged in the trunk and lost an important part of the stolen money, a mace and packages of tobacco.
The National Police investigates this event to arrest the group of assailants for a possible crime of robbery with force.
