The popularity of Emmanuel Macron is down slightly (-1), that of Edouard Philippe loses three points and French support for the mobilization against the pension reform remains high, according to a BVA poll published Friday.

Seven out of ten French people (70%) still believe that the protest movement must continue, against 29% that it must stop.

With 33% of positive opinions, the head of state continues a slide started in October (-4 pts in three months) and 66% (=) of those questioned do not trust him, according to this survey for Orange, RTL and La Tribune.

In the front line on the pensions issue, the Prime Minister suffered the strongest hit, with 37% (-3) of favorable opinions and 62% (+3) of opposite opinions.

Edouard Philippe notably falls with LR sympathizers (-10) and wins on the contrary (+5) with those of La République en Marche.

Most of the surveys published in recent weeks, on the contrary, gave the executive couple stable or slightly increasing.

Almost one in two French (45%) finally judge that the economic reforms of Emmanuel Macron since 2017 have "deteriorated the situation of France", 30% see no impact and for only 24% they have improved.

Survey carried out online from January 22 to 23 among 1,005 people aged 18 and over, using the quota method. Margin of error from 1.4 to 3.1 points.
