“Constant pain is the norm for us”: a family history with a rare genetic disease


The IC of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case against Nizhny Novgorod doctors for neglecting patients with incurable genetic disease. Investigators began an investigation after the death of January 17, 2020 of 51-year-old Mikhail Vorontsov. The man suffered from a rare genetic pathology - Fabry disease. According to Natalia Fedina, the niece of the deceased, in 2017, she, her son, and six other relatives were diagnosed with this.
