A British newspaper - quoting unidentified sources - said that Prime Minister Boris Johnson had contacted Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman via WhatsApp.

The Times said the disclosure of this information coincided with the accusations of the Saudi crown prince that he was involved in hacking into the phone of Amazon billionaire owner Jeff Bezos.

The forensic analysis of the alleged piracy revealed that Bezos' phone was most likely exposed to that process by a file sent from a WhatsApp account that follows Bin Saman in April or May 2018, which within hours led to a "significant change" and major inflation in The volume of data issued by the billionaire phone.

The Times quoted a newspaper, Telegraph, quoting former British government officials as saying that Johnson and Bin Salman probably exchanged messages via WhatsApp, and that even one of those sources said he was 99% sure that they had communicated via WhatsApp.

The Times added that the Prime Minister refused to comment on this issue, and quoted a Johnson spokesman as saying, "It is not possible for us to comment on the security arrangements for the ministers."
