By commemorating the Holocaust's 75th anniversary, Israel has sought to strengthen the alliance with Russia to serve its regional interests in the Middle East, by dedicating Russian President Vladimir Putin the key, symbolic, and key status of praising Moscow's role in liberating Auschwitz camp during World War II.

Over the course of yesterday, Wednesday and Thursday, the World Holocaust Forum was held for the first time in Israel, and its activities were organized at the Yad Vashem Institute in occupied Jerusalem, in the middle of the invited province of Poland and Ukraine and a prominent attendance of delegations from Russia.

The "Holocaust" forum was attended by the presidents of France, Germany, Italy and Russia, alongside US Vice President Mike Pence, British Crown Prince Charles, and the kings of Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Also, 40 leaders, heads of state of the world, and parliamentary delegations from Europe and America participated in the activities of the forum, which were limited to the speeches of Israeli leaders and representatives of countries and powers of World War II, including the Russian President.

The Holocaust and Russia
President Putin was given a more prominent place in the "Holocaust" forum than other world leaders, in order to grant him an amnesty for the Israeli prisoner in Moscow ostrich, in exchange for Tel Aviv's commitment to return the properties of the Russian Church in Old Jerusalem to Russian ownership, according to Israeli media.

This is also due to Putin's role and his strengthening of the Russian role in the Middle East, especially in everything related to the ongoing war in Syria and the role of Iran in it, as well as everything related to the Iranian nuclear file and Moscow's role in containing the tension between Tehran and Washington after the assassination of America, commander of the "Jerusalem Corps" Qasim Soleimani.

Through the Forum's activities, Israel confirmed its presence and strengthened its influence and role in the Middle East, as it employed the 75th anniversary of the Holocaust to continue raising the scarecrow of the Iranian nuclear program to European leaders and leaders and inciting Tehran to impose more sanctions on it.

Crowd and marketing
Israel has also, through the files dealt with with the leaders on the sidelines of the Forum's activities, to mobilize world leaders to support Israeli regional policies in the files of Syria, the Palestinian issue and Iran and its influence in the Middle East, according to the analysis of "Haaretz".

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in his meetings with world leaders, has consistently promoted his country as a victim of anti-Semitism in the Middle East.

Netanyahu asked French President Emmanuel Macron to join the pressures and sanctions imposed on Iran, following the steps taken by Tehran in the nuclear field and its growing influence in the Middle East from the Israeli point of view.

He also took advantage of the Holocaust’s memory to strengthen his alliance and cooperation with Russia and France alongside the main strategic alliance with the United States, where he decided with Macron to launch a strategic dialogue between the two countries to enhance cooperation between them on everything related to regional issues.

Issues and interests
Perhaps the most prominent issues discussed by Netanyahu with Israel's allies, the project of producing precision rockets by Hezbollah, the struggle for eastern Mediterranean gas, Turkish intervention in Libya, and inviting European countries to join the regional gas forum that started from the Egyptian capital Cairo.

The axes that Netanyahu discussed with the Russian President reflected the common interests and regional policies of many superpowers that are in harmony and converge with Israel's policies in the Middle East, as expressed by Putin and Netanyahu's statements after their meeting on the sidelines of the forum's activities.

Netanyahu praised the close relations between Tel Aviv and Moscow, describing the Russian president as "the great friend of Israel", and stressing that these distinguished bilateral relations are in the interest of the Israeli and Russian peoples, peace and stability in the Middle East.

For his part, Putin said, "We are working regularly with Prime Minister Netanyahu ... We have long wanted to visit Israel, and I am sure that this visit contributes to strengthening relations between us ... Today, of course, we commemorate the memory of the victims of the Holocaust."

Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz seemed more clear about everything related to the Holocaust memorial and the role of the superpowers in liberating the Auschwitz camp, when upon receiving the Russian President he chose to pay tribute to Moscow’s role during World War II, saying, “As far as the historical debate is concerned, we know the facts and who freed the survivors From the Holocaust. Poland and Ukraine
Contrary to the world leaders ’harmony with the Israeli calls for the“ Holocaust ”forum, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelinsky chose to boycott the events and ceremonies and suddenly announced this morning his country’s boycott of the“ Holocaust ”forum, in order“ to make room for Holocaust survivors who wanted to participate in this event, but they did not They receive tickets, "according to his Twitter account.

As for Polish President Andrzej Doda, the reason for canceling his participation in the forum was due to not being allowed to speak at the opening ceremony, while allowing President Putin to deliver a speech and participating in the opening of a memorial to the victims of World War II, knowing that Putin said that Poland cooperated with the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.

And the official Israeli radio "Kan" also suggested that one of the reasons for the Polish president's boycott of the forum was what was stated by Israeli Foreign Minister Katz about a year ago, when he said that "the Poles sucked anti-Semitism with their mothers' milk."

In addition to these reasons, Poland views the Holocaust memorial forum as an alternative to celebrate the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, which will be held in Auschwitz on January 27, that is, on the International Day of Remembrance of the Holocaust.
