The man was arrested in Poland in early December, after being internationally wanted. He has since been detained in Poland, but has been opposed to extradition to Sweden, according to Robert Loeffel, press secretary at the Police region south.
- He has gone through negotiations with the Polish court, and it is now complete. He will be extradited to Sweden this weekend.

- I can't say that, but I can say that international cooperation works, says Robert Loeffel.
The 48-year-old has so far been arrested in his absence by Växjö District Court on suspicion of murder, seizure of continued funds and attempted fraud. Preliminary detention will be held in Växjö on Monday.
Already, another man has been detained, including him from Ukraine, for killing the 70-year-old in Markaryd.
