Paris defender SG Marquinhos will be out of the field for about three weeks due to a hamstring injury, the Paris club said on Thursday.
"Marquinhos injured his hamstrings on Wednesday evening. The examinations confirm a lesion of the femoral biceps. The period of unavailability should be around 3 weeks," said PSG.
The defender, who recently extended his contract until 2024, was released on injury Wednesday during the Parisian Cup Cup victory in Reims (3-0).
The length of his convalescence makes it doubtful his participation in the 8th final first leg of the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund on February 18.
Previously, Paris SG will face Lille, Montpellier, Nantes, Lyon and Amiens in Ligue 1, and Pau in the Coupe de France.
