It is noted that “additional measures have been taken to strengthen sanitary and quarantine control at the checkpoint across the state border of the Russian Federation; monitoring was provided for the readiness of medical organizations to receive patients or persons with suspected coronavirus infection. ”
The department also reported that “issues of immediate isolation of persons with suspected illness and establishing medical supervision of contact persons have been worked out; measures have been taken to train medical personnel. ”

It has spread beyond the PRC; cases of infection have been recorded in South Korea, Japan, the USA, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.
Rospotrebnadzor reported that a vaccine is being developed in Russia. The department has strengthened sanitary-quarantine control at all checkpoints on the borders of Russia.
