It only took 20 minutes to multiply the sale price by almost six. A ruined property located in the 7th arrondissement was put up for auction this Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Paris tribunal de grande instance for 6 million euros. It found a taker for 35.1 million euros, indicates a press release from the agency Féau Immobilier.
This complex, located at 12 rue Oudinot, with a surface area of around 2,000 m² includes a three-storey building on the street, an interior courtyard, a villa and a large garden at the back for a total of 1,597 m² of living space. The property is located between Le Bon Marché and Les Invalides, and is adjacent to the house of Yves-Saint-Laurent.
Ten days to bid
The site belonged to a Dutch company, Bellegingsmaattschapij Belensas, and was sold as part of a foreclosure procedure by the American bank JP Morgan Chase, managed by lawyer Bruno Picard. The American bank was a creditor of 35.5 million euros with the Dutch company.
However, this operation is not yet final. Within ten days, a candidate for the purchase can still bid higher provided that its proposal is superior of at least a tenth, therefore above approximately 39 million euros.
