In the clip you hear Therese Karlsson, riding school manager at Ridcenter at Dal, about how they discovered the sick horses.

The riding clubs in Bengtsfors and Dals-Ed were affected by coronavirus in mid-January. In total, there were five horses among those who became ill and showed positive sampling.

Both equestrian clubs have now temporarily closed their facilities for horses from outside and the riding school students are encouraged to change clothes and disinfect their shoes if they are staying in several stables. The riding club in Mellerud has also taken the same precautionary measures.

The clubs in Åmål, which had coronavirus last year, and the clubs in Färgelanda have not closed their facilities, but still call for a change of clothes for those staying at several stables.
