Right now, sixteen students in vocational education go to welder at T2 college in Skellefteå - seven of them are women.
One of the seven women has worked in large kitchens, all others in health care. The training is five months long and in all groups that have attended it since September 2018, 40 percent have been women.
Hanna Lundström leaves the care after working there for ten years and hopes after the education to get a job as a welder.
