January 21, 2020 Trump returns to threaten Europe after the deal he calls "historic" with China. And he does it on the day he "challenges" Gros Thunberg to Davos on the climate and especially on the day the US Senate begins to discuss the president's impeachment.

Duties on European cars without an agreement
Without an agreement with the EU Commission, the US will impose tariffs on imports of European cars: "They know very well that I will impose tariffs if we do not reach a fair and satisfactory agreement," the US president said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, margin of the Davos Forum. The president did not want to indicate what the deadline is, simply saying: "They know it well," he said.

Today in Davos, the President met with the President of the EU Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

Mnuchin: "Italy and the UK stop on Web Tax"
Another hot front in Davos is that of the Web Tax. Washington threatens tariffs against Italy and the United Kingdom if the two countries pursue the intentions of a digital tax against the US web giants. Speaking at an event organized by the Wall Street Journal at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the treasury secretary hoped that Rome and London would stop their plans. "If they don't, they will face President Trump's duties," Mnuchin said in the Journal.
