Putin invited Chaika to become the presidential envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District

Earlier, Putin began a meeting with Chaika and the deputy head of the Investigative Committee, Igor Krasnov, who was proposed as the prosecutor general.

On January 20, Putin submitted to the Federation Council the candidacy of Krasnov for the post of Attorney General, proposing the dismissal of Seagull.
