Martynov drew attention to the fact that the structure of the government as a whole did not undergo significant changes.

“This was expected, and it was clear that the power block, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was busy with intensive work, and, of course, no one was going to change anything even in some wildest forecasts, ideas ... We must pay attention to that that both in the structure of the government and in some intra-governmental mechanisms, we can talk about the continuity of the organization of work of the government, ”Martynov said.

According to the political scientist, the new cabinet will have to implement the tasks set for the government in the president’s message.

“There are a lot of new people, those expectations, those requests for updates, for the dynamics of the implementation of the tasks, on the one hand (by society), and on the other - this is exactly the government that will realize the tasks that are set in the president’s message. The tasks are ambitious and require that work begin here and now, ”the expert added.

Earlier it became known that Sergey Lavrov and Sergey Shoigu retained the posts of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Defense in the new government. Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev and Emergencies Minister Yevgeny Zinichev also retained their posts.
