Executive Council Resolution No. (6) for the year 2020 regarding the approval of financial allocations for Dubai Government employees has set a new mechanism for replacing the nature of work for Dubai government employees, in accordance with several criteria that take into account not to prejudice their acquired rights, which are represented by their basic salaries, public allowances and their equivalent, even if it exceeds the end of The assessed financial linkage of the occupational class for the degree of employment in which they reside.

According to the new decision, the nature of work allowance and skills allowance that was spent in accordance with the Dubai Government’s Human Resources Management Law No. (27) for the year 2006 and its amendments are added to their total salaries, provided that their amount is distributed equally between the basic salary and the general premium.

Also, according to the law, allowances and allowances that employees not subject to Dubai Government’s Human Resources Management Law No. (27) of 2006 and its amendments have been studied, and their addition approved by the committee, and if the total salary of the employee before placement is less than the beginning of the financial correlation of the job circle for the job grade It is inhabited according to the mechanism and periods adopted by the committee in this regard.

The employee appointed for a temporary contract or a part-time contract shall retain the monthly salary that he was receiving before the assignment, provided that his monthly salary is modified according to this decision upon the conclusion of a new contract with him or the renewal of the contract concluded with him, and the employees are also stationed on the job grades and job links as of the date of work With this decision.

According to Article 27 of the Resolution, the employees who continue in service at the time of the implementation of this decision are housed on the job grades and job links specified in the tables referred to in Paragraph (B) of Article (6) of this Resolution, in accordance with the rules and controls stipulated in this article by the Committee, The committee shall be formed by a decision of the President of the Executive Council, to include in its membership representatives of the Human Resources Department, the Finance Department and the Higher Committee for Legislation, and the decision to form the committee shall determine its terms of reference, its work system and the mechanism for holding its meetings.
