Lyon qualified for the sixth final of the League Cup in its history, after their victory in the penalty shootout (2-2, 4-3) against Lille, Tuesday at Décines-Charpieu, near Lyon.
In the last act, Bamba and Renato Sanches both missed their attempt on the Lille side, offering the victory to OL. The second qualifying place for the final of the last edition of the Coupe de la Ligue is played Wednesday between Reims and Paris SG.
