In a preliminary report, the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization said two missiles hit the Ukrainian plane , causing it to fall. The report says that the investigation continues into the reasons for the missile attacks against the Boeing.

Above all, the authorities have made a new request for the black boxes of the plane by asking France and the United States to send to Iran the equipment necessary to decode them. " For the moment, we have not received a positive response " from France and the United States, the report said, adding that Tehran will try to buy the equipment to decode the black boxes. Clearly, this means that for the moment, there is no question of sending them abroad, as requested by Ukraine and Canada.

However, a few days ago, a civil aviation official said that the black boxes would be sent to France or Ukraine, before going back on his remarks on Sunday, saying that Iran would try to decode the information in the country. No explanation was given for the reasons for these reversals. Finally, the authorities have not provided information on the identity and number of those arrested.
