The 22-year-old landed at Kastrup on Monday night after a flight from Thailand. When the man was wanted internationally on suspicion of murder and weapons crime, he got caught in the passport control at Copenhagen Airport and could be arrested, writes Danish magazine Ekstra Bladet.

According to SVT, the man is from Malmö. He has not been convicted of any crime in Malmö, but he is known by the police in Malmö.

- We know the person yes, says Petra Stenkula, Head of the Investigation Section in Malmö.

She does not want to develop in what way he is known.

Malmö Police have since collaborated with the English police since the murder on Christmas Eve.

- And operational cooperation will continue, says Petra Stenkula.

Are there more Malmö residents who are of interest to the English police?

- I will not comment, but this is in English police.

The British police have requested the man extradited and he is now in custody in Denmark. He can be detained for 13 days while the Danish police handle the case.
